Refund Policy

Last updated: June 15, 2025

This policy defines the conditions under which the Client may be eligible for a partial or full refund of services provided by Editly.

1. Nature of Services

The services provided by Editly consist of personalized video editing, created from materials supplied by the Client (footage, instructions, music, visuals, etc.).
Work begins as soon as these files are received and the order is reviewed.

2. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services fully performed before the end of the 14-day legal withdrawal period, with the Client’s express consent.
By ordering a service from Editly, the Client expressly agrees that the execution starts immediately, thereby waiving their right of withdrawal.

3. Refund Cases

a. Before Actual Work Begins

A full refund may be granted if the request is made before any processing or review of files has started.
However, some administrative fees may be deducted if costs have already been incurred (tools, project management, etc.).

b. After Work Has Started but Before Any Delivery

If the refund request is made after work has begun but before delivery of the first version, a partial refund may be considered.
At least 30% of the total amount will be retained to cover processing fees and work performed.

c. After Delivery of the First Version

No refund is possible once the first version of the video (even if watermarked) has been delivered to the Client.

4. Modifications

Each service includes two rounds of revisions, to be submitted via our dedicated platform (Notion or Google Drive).
These adjustments should remain reasonable and minor, as specified in our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Any major or additional revision requests will require a personalized quote.

5. Refund Denial

No refunds will be granted in the following cases:

  • No response from the Client after delivery of a version

  • Revision requests that do not comply with the initial guidelines

  • Change of mind or artistic direction during the project

  • Late, incomplete, or poor-quality file submissions

  • Poor quality of footage (image, sound, etc.) making editing difficult or impossible

6. Refund Request Procedure

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the following address:
📧 editly.pro@gmail.com

The Client must provide:

  • Full name

  • Order date

  • Order reference (if applicable)

  • Detailed reasons for the request

A response will be provided within 5 business days.

7. Reservation of Rights

Editly reserves the right to refuse a refund if the above conditions are not met or if the request is deemed abusive or unfounded.
